Want to visit the ice age? Now you can get face to face with a mammoth, saber-toothed cat and a woolly rhinoceros! Life size animals guarantee a cool museum experience, especially for children.

In addition to the great predators and herbivores, the exhibition also illustrates human survival in the changing circumstances of the ice age. One section of the exhibition is dedicated to the paleolithic findings of Karijoki Wolf Cave in western Finland.

The exhibition is produced in cooperation with the Italian exhibition organizations Contemporanea Progetti and Expona and the Neanderthal museum in Germany. The life-size reproductions of ice age animals come from the Natural History Museum of Jesolo in Italy. Unique Paleolithic Venus and animal figurines are on loan from Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, the Kunstkamera.
