On the second floor of Vapriikki, the Pirkanmaan kuvakööri is presenting a miniature photo exhibition entitled Minun Kangasalani. Pirkanmaan kuvakööri, or PIKU, is a group of volunteer photographers coordinated by Vapriikki Photo Archives. The group documents Pirkanmaa area and their own home region by taking photographs. PIKU starts in a different municipality in Pirkanmaa each year, where volunteers are invited to join in. In summer 2024, PIKU was launched in cooperation with the cultural services of Kangasala.

The photos in the exhibition present the everyday life, landscapes, moods, activities, change and people of Kangasala through the lenses of volunteer photographers. During the year, the themes were My Kangasala, Functional Kangasala and Change. The exhibition will be on display until the end of September.
