A small exhibition titled “My Ylöjärvi” is on display in the conference corridor on the second floor of Vapriikki.

Pirkanmaa kuvakööri or PIKU, is a group of volunteer photographers from the Vapriikki Photo Archive who photograph Pirkanmaa and their own local areas. PIKU operates in a different municipality in Pirkanmaa each year, inviting volunteers to join in the photography. In the summer of 2025, PIKU launched in Ylöjärvi.

The photos in the exhibition showcase everyday life, landscapes, atmospheres, activities, change, and people in Ylöjärvi through the eyes of the volunteer photographers. Throughout the year, common themes included “My Ylöjärvi,” “People and Nature,” and “Villages and the Countryside.” The exhibition will be on display through October.
