Reservation Instructions
Guided tours can be booked on weekdays, Mon-Fri, from 8 AM to 4 PM.

When booking a guided tour, please provide the following information:
Preferred date and time for the museum visit
Type of guided tour (e.g., school tour, exhibition tour, general tour, etc.) or booked children's party
Exhibition(s) to be guided through
Group size
Name and contact details of the person making the reservation
During the booking, you can also present specific requests regarding the guided tour. It's important to inform about any special needs or requirements of the group at the time of booking. Reservations must be made and confirmed at least one week prior to the desired guided tour date. Cancellations must be made no later than the day before the guided tour. For no-show reservations, we will charge the full guided tour fee.
The guided tour fee can be paid at the Vapriikki ticket counter upon arrival. Accepted payment methods include cash, major credit and debit cards (including Visa Electron), and vouchers for travel agencies. Individuals, companies, and organizations with a business ID (Y-tunnus) can also be invoiced afterward. The billing address (or OVT code), the name of the reserver for the reference, and the business ID (individuals' social security number) should be provided during the reservation. The invoice will be sent to the provided address afterward. An additional billing fee of 5€ applies to guided tour invoices.
Other Guided Tour Related Instructions
Public guided tours are open to all individual visitors (not groups), while booked guided tours are only for those who have reserved them. Please ensure that groups with booked guided tours have a peaceful tour experience.
Groups should arrive at the museum well in advance, as the guided tour begins at the agreed-upon time. The guide will meet the group in front of Vapriikki's information desk, unless otherwise arranged.
For school groups, please notify Vapriikki's information desk in advance by phone or email about your visit, even if your group does not have a booked guided tour.
Vapriikki has a team of its own professional guides who handle guided tours. Therefore, please use the museum's own guides; independent exhibition guiding by groups is not allowed in our premises. An exception to this rule is school groups guided by their teachers.
Due to the large size of Vapriikki with numerous permanent and special exhibitions, we recommend that in addition to the guided tour, the group is given at least 1 hour of self-guided time to explore other exhibitions.
